Fears of Trump Harming SF’s Sanctuary City Status Draw Locals to City Hall

The specter of President-elect Donald Trump removing federal dollars from cities like San Francisco that have sanctuary policies for immigrants spurred a Nov. 29 press conference with civic leaders who stressed the importance of protecting people from deportations.
