From Homeless to $100K in SF: The Rise of Preston Phan
| By Ted Andersen |
It was Christmas Day 2016 when 29-year-old Preston Phan stood on the streets of San Francisco’s Mission District FaceTime-chatting his family, careful not to allow the building where he was staying to slip into view. Three months later, Phan would be living in Silicon Valley earning a salary of $115,000 at a major tech company. This is his story.
